10 — Faith & Service

Faith that informs. Service that transforms.

Receiving a Citation of Honour for his service as District Lay Representative to the Ga Presbytery.

For more than three decades, my Christian faith has been a foundation for service, leadership, discipleship and my commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others.

My journey as an engineer, educator, entrepreneur and technical leader has developed alongside a parallel calling to serve the Body of Christ.

As a member of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, I have had the privilege of serving in leadership, evangelism, discipleship and preaching roles. My service has also reached beyond the institutional boundaries of the Presbyterian Church, reflecting my conviction that the Christian calling is ultimately a calling to serve God and humanity.

A journey of Christian service

1996 — Present
1996 — 2000

Youth President

Led young people and contributed to youth fellowship, Christian development, participation and outreach.

2000 — Present

Lay Preacher & Minister of the Gospel

Serving in preaching, evangelism, Christian fellowship, discipleship and the spiritual growth of individuals and communities.

2010 — 2014

Presbyter (Elder)

Contributed to congregational leadership, pastoral support, Christian fellowship and church administration within the Presbyterian Church of Ghana.

2014 — 2020

District Director, Mission & Evangelism

Taking the Christian message beyond the walls of the church through evangelism, outreach, discipleship and community engagement.

2018 · Seoul, South Korea — Milestone

Commissioned in Disciple-Making Ministry

One of the most significant milestones in my Christian journey.

“Christian leadership should not merely gather people. It should develop people, equip believers and reproduce responsible Christian leaders.”
2020 — 2024

District Lay Representative, Ga Presbytery

Represented the district on the Ga Presbytery Council, taking part in the wider governance, deliberation and mission of the Church.

2023 · Abetifi Kwahu

Commissioner, 19th General Assembly

Served as a Commissioner to the 19th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, drawing on years of congregational leadership, mission, evangelism and lay representation.

Beyond the Church Walls

Serving the wider Body of Christ

The Presbyterian Church of Ghana has been an important home for my service, and I also seek to serve, encourage, mentor and work with Christians beyond the Presbyterian tradition.

Faith & Professional Leadership

Where faith meets leadership.

My Christian faith shapes how I carry out my professional responsibilities, whether I am leading an engineering organisation, teaching students, mentoring technicians, advising clients or working with professional institutions.

For me, professional success and Christian service are not competing identities. They are two sides of a life built around purpose, responsibility and service to others.

Still called to serve.

My journey continues. The titles and positions may change, but the calling remains the same:
